Hi,

I have PAN Card obtained in 2001, which is the one laminated on plain paper.

 

Now I need to procure the Latest Debit card type of PAN Card. Pls let me know what has to be done & wolud appriciate of the form can be shared

make an application fr correction in form 49a

attach a xerox copy of yr orignal pan card.

also attach a id proof and a address proof (eg. dl, ration card , bank a/c statment, voter id card)

fee fr d same is 94 rs submit d same in d nearest tin-fc.

what they said is right.. but why you need a new PAN card...  

doesnt this sound odd.. what you are doing is unnecessary waste of time and labour..

now a days a fresh application is taking nearly twenty days time from date of applying to date of receipt.. when such unwanted things include it may even take time for some genuine and emergency cases..

kindly avoid such an act.

@ Shyam, the old card is a black and white one and I am not able to use the same for my valid ID Card & the lamination is torn now...and not in a condition of use..
