Pan application

I have sole proprietor business. I have my PAN but want PAN on name of my business. there is no proprietor category while applying for PAN. so can I apply under individual category?

There is no separate PAN for sole proprietor

Proprietorship's are not a separate legal entity. Hence, the PAN of the proprietor is the PAN of a proprietorship firm.
