Last year, i have changed my residential address. But i had applied & received my PAN card from my earlier address.
Kindly inform me about the procedure to get the Address changed in the PAN details.

Hi Suvarna.....You can download the form for change in PAN or for applying 4 a new PAN card....both options are available in the same form. You can search on Google by "apply for PAN changes" and u will get the form. Download that form,fill and submit it and after 10 days u will receive the new PAN with desired changes.

if pan card is lost, we can get the new one by submitting the application in form49a changes and submitting any proof that supports the lost pan card. i.e, pan xerox copy or the letter sent by the IT dept or acknowledgement

Do you need to apply for a PAN when you move or transfer from one city to another?
Permanent Account Number (PAN), as the name suggests, is a permanent number and does not change during lifetime of PAN holder. Changing the address or city, though, may change the Assessing Officer. Such changes must, therefore, be intimated to nearest IT PAN Service Center or TIN Facilitation Center for required correction in PAN databases of the Income Tax department. These requests will have to be made in a form for 'Request For New PAN Card Or/ And Changes In PAN Data'

EITHER U CAN APPLY IN CHANGE FORM OR U CAN INTIMATE THE CHANGE OF ADDRESS TO THE CONCERNED ASSESSING OFFICER

Friends,
One Year back I had applied for change of my address in PAN Card by filing and filing online application and then sending documents to NSDL for doing needful.
However, after lots of follow up, I was replied that no such change in address are being required to be incorporate in PAN details and I loose the money which i have paid for processing. I have the email communication and other details with me.
If any one having similar experience or different experince, I would be happy to know the same.
So, before applying for change of address in PAN Card, please inquire with the relevant processing agency (like NSDL).

The procedure is simple-
Obtain a form for change in PAN data
Affix a recent color photograph and fill it with the new address
Attatch the Address proof( gazetted officers certficate with photo of the PAN holder will do)
Attatch a copy of old PAN card.
Pay rs 94 at NSDL or UTI.
