This is Ramana(cwa inter completed) I have doubt
i have registered company on7.2.2008, still i have not applied PAN number, This year (2012 Sep) applied PAN.
wt was the problems facing situation in itr filing of companies

companies has to file ITR since the date of incorporation, and get accounts audited every year. get in touch with your CA, and ask for consolidate all old periods in non operation period, and file for all old periods in single return.
unsure that how the MCA will react on filing, coz MCA site needs yearly submission of balance sheet and returns.

https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/portal/KnowTan.do otherwise follow the following path
www.incometaxindia.gov.in -> TAN -> Know Your TAN.
but i don't know how to check service tax i am sorry.
