Padhukas - PCC TAX - Announcement - Query

Hello Friends,

 

All of you might have seen the announcement by ICAI relating to PCC taxation - FBT & Perquisites, (Source: https://icai.org/post.html?post_id=5488&c_id=219). In this regard i would like to know that, already i've purchased padhukas - Taxation for PCC in the month of November or December in 2009. I'm unable to know whether this book covers the latest amendments of budget or not ? If it covers then what have I got to do with respect to ICAI Announcement ?

 

Should I continue using that book or not ? Please reply...!!

The book may or may not contain the amendments.It will be better if u collect a copy of amendments issued by ICAI and refer it. For practical problems you can refer the book and solve them according to the latest amendments.

My question is, if it covers amendments, then ICAI has given Announcement that these amendments are not applicable for May 2010 exams.... then what should i do ? How will i know that the amendments that are there in the book related to Announcement or not ? Please let me know...!!

My Book is last revised in January 2010 - PCC- Padhukas - Taxation.... so it consists of Rule 3, what have i got to do now ?
