If it is posted then a separate rectification entry.
sales dr.
credit. suspense.
after summation of all these entries .
a balance will appear .
which has recasted.

(being sales book was overcasted)

Sales books overcasted means sales booked more by Rs 500 and Debtors also booked higher by Rs 500/-

I don't consider this as totalling error under computerised accounting

Simply do -. Sales Dr. and sundry Debtors XYZ Cr. by Rs 500/-
