please point out me,

the opportunities for icwa qualifiers..

role of icwa's in the present market..

merits and demerits of ICWA when compare to CA and CS...

friends and experts please suggest me in this regard...

If u want to go for job CWAs are having good scope. Scope is very less if u want to go for practice.

In the current market scenario role of CWAs are not only restricted to core costing fields, they have opportunities in accounts and finance also.

its tough to compare the merits and demirits. whether to go for the course or not is totally based on your current situation. If u want to do CA, u hv to do articleship, in case of CWA also articleship is there but that is not restricted to the cost accountants firms only. you can do ur training in any industry mentioned by ICWAI. overall icwa is less time consuming and market demand is good...and its increasing day by day.

Dear Sir,

We have prepard and confirm the return for the month of Sep-2010 and on verification it was noticed that in Ann.I that we have shown the purchase value of the Rs, 1898558 instad of Rs.18985

Now, ICWAs are getting salary package up to Rs 11 lakh per annum majorly hired by foreign firms here. There are Indian corporate giants like Reliance equally offering such salaries to the ICWA pass outs," he said. Other than 'transfer pricing', the nod to appointment of ICWAs as CFOs of companies in the new Companies Bill by ministry of corporate affairs (MCA) would be a blessing in disguise to 45,000 working ICWAs and 3 lakh students who are pursuing the course all over India, he said.
