No our ICAI degrees are not recognised there in totality, You need to Give few papers there & clear them then only you can practice there & there you are designated as a CPA

Yes CPA is Manageble & Cost depends on How you get into it. There are many Institutes in India also who are giving you assistance to admission for CPA & Coaching for it but then it comes very expensive, Rather you can directly surf out the CPA Institutes in USA on Net & send them your Request & they will get back with the necessary details as required by you & also how you can secure Admission & Study Material & exams & other things. That will be very Cheap. & You can go for CPA from USA or Canada as you wish. YOu want you can even Go to US / Canada if you can arrange the Study Visa & other things & do it Staying there than that would be the Best

Yes it is true that unlike India, USA recognises 10+2+4 yrs of educational background as normal graduation.
To fit in the above bracket what most of Indian student does is to go for 2 yr M.Com after completing B.com graduation and there by one would satisfy the limit of 10+2+4 yrs of requirement and become eligible to pursue post graduation course in U.S.A.
