hi..

i dont think .. income tax dept are improving their systems

so.. never it will affect our professions and it make high accurarcy over professional works.

so think positive

I m agree with Narendra Jee,

change for good cause should be welcome.

i m also agree with Tilak Raj Jee, that nowdays income tax department has increase workload on CA's.

but in future we will be benefited from this. it will bring high accurarcy , timely refunds online checking of return not bhag daud... last date par... a lot things.

it is a welcome change.

Thanks

Praveen

I donot agree as it dept is moving towards paperless procedure so some initail hassles  to be faced. It will get resolved soon once we will be aquainted with the procedure

the process is so complicated... means to say its not the work of a normal person... hope department do some changes :)

The process is getting more and more complicated espically the process of registration of digital signature. It seems impossible to register the digital signature. Even is everything is ok we get the error:

Error in registration of your Digital Certificate

Validation Error

You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

The certification chain is too short. It should consist of at least 1 certiicates.

If someone knows what is to be done then kindly reply

Also while registration if email address is wrongly spelt then wat is to be done.. If you contact the call center they say send an email to efiling.administrator @ incometaxindia.gov.in and then wait for their reply. How much time to wait we dont know.

As change is good. it save our paper cost also if we file e file return. but very next its increase our postal charges of Banglore psoatage.

One more imp thing is..... EARLIER WHEN WE FILE RETURN TO LOCALT IT DEPARTMENT THAY CALL US FOR QUEARY RAISE ABOUT TDS WHICH SOME PARTY NOT FILE E TDS RETURN AND WE TAKE CREDIT OF THE SAME. AND NOW BANGLORE PEOPLE WILL DO SAME? IF THE PARTY NOT FILE E TDS RETURN AND IT NOT SHOWS IN 26AS BUT ISSUE CERTIFICATE IN OUR FAVOUR AND WE CLAIM TDS THEN WHO WILL GIVE CREDIT OF SUCH TDS AMOUNT?

Also one more thing is not clear is we file 10 - 20 returns of our cleints without digital signature at one time can we send all in one A-4 envelope or we have to use 10 - 20 A-4 size envelope and pay postage charges on it?

Apart from all these, in case of UTN for the year 2008-09 under new TDS procedures, in case of interest from Banks on FDs, they are not issueing TDS certificates properly, how can we expect from them that they will give UTN on time?

Yes, Mr. Mahendra,

I m agree with you that banks are not giving proper TDS Certificate, government should take action against such behaviour by nationalised banks.

:-)

I too agree with the IT Deppt. for Increasing The Paperless Work In the Income Tax field..........

The Govt Should Also to make the State Taxes online so that one Can pay and can get refund of the state taxes also........

From the Fin. Year 2008-09, the online filing of the Income tax returns are getting more tougher & time consuming. The govt should not makke only one centralised office for Online returns... the system to file the online return for fin. year 2007-08 was easy and for the help to the persons who self filed their returns ang get the ITR-V stamped from the Income tax Deptt. in the local city. But now with the Centralised Office in Banglore creation, there are lots of problems created, no one is happy to stand in the Que for the whole day for just a single return to be filed. In specially PUNJAB there are no one is happy with the wrong step by the govt. by opening a monople centralised office in Banglore, and there is another problem that if anyone file his return via Internet the he has to Send the ITR-V via Ordinary post to Banglore to the Centralised Income Tax office but there is no guarantee of the Indian Post that it will reach to the Banglore within 30 days......

So, if any one also Don't like the step towards, the internet Filing of Income Tax Returns, the step of Govt. then post your view also on this site.

Thanx.
