ITR 1 is a form we can file for income from - SALARY, OTHER SOURCES and Income from ONE HOUSE PROPERTY.
it is ur choice to file it online or by downloading the excel or java file if u have income as stated above.

But there are some conditions for filing of ITR-1
1.You should not have income from aggriculture more thanRs 5000/-
2.You should not have more than one house property
3.You should not carryforwording any house property loss from last year
4.You should not have income from Horse Races,Winning from Lotteries
