Online CPT Exam

Please guide me through the procedure of applying for online CPT. This is for my friend who wrote CPT in December 2009, but couldn't manage to pass. When can he appear for online CPT if he registers now. Thanks a million in advance !

I failed in CPT i got 84.I feel bad.I wana write online exam.When is it?I searched but could not find in ICAI site.Could anyone tell me when its gonna be there?

online exam is conducted last week of every months,but a student have to keep gap of 6 months,if not cleared......

n if u wanna give ur online cpt,u can give but ur attempt of ipcc will be as similar as those of june 2010 students....

Dear Friends... ICAI has a seprate site for the Online CPT examination. Please visit regularly https://www.icai.org:9090/ for next cpt exam notification and also registration.

my brother and his 3 friends tried to register for CPT online exam to be held in september-2010, but till now none of them received the user id and password.

It is hereby notified that the Council of the Institute has decided to hold the Online Common Proficiency Test (CPT) for the candidates who would be willing to take the Test Online as per the following details.

The medium of test for Online CPT would be ENGLISH only.

The candidates intending to take the Online CPT shall be required to fill in the Online examination application form with requisite fees and the facility for Online filling up of examination form would be made available as indicated below:-

* The online application form for a particular Test may be closed prior to the above Last Date in case the seats available at a particular centre are completely filled up.

A candidate can appear in Common Proficiency Test two times in a period of six months i.e. once in Online test either in July, September, or October 2010 and once in Paper Pencil mode CPT in

December, 2010.

The decision of the Institute to admit a candidate to either Online Test in July/September/October, 2010 or Paper-Pencil Mode Test in December-2010 is final and no correspondence for change of Test / Centre etc. will be entertained under any circumstances.

Please guide me through the procedure of applying for online CPT. for the month march 2011 nd april..

when is registration date for the same. i could nt find any info.regarding the same on the icai site. plzz help me..... as soon as possible..

@ rishab,

presently there is no information regarding when the next cpt online exam will be held. icai is going through some technical problem to solve the long-felt need of the students to increase the no. of seats for online cpt. as soon as the problems are solved , the dates will be finalised and hosted in www.icai.org. you have to get registered through online only. registration date will also be declared along with the online cpt dates, so keep a watch in the official website of icai.

i was conducted the cpt exam in june2011.but i was failed.so please sent the details of next online cptexam date. and the procedure for online cpt exam.
