If you starting long gap then go for one group, your doing final you need much time to study and make revison it will take time to complete one group..my suggestion is like that..rest all the best

I want you to appear for Both groups and dont think of anything else. If you are appearing for May 09 then also you have lot of time as i also prepared for CA final in just 3 months only. Further benefit of setoff available to yo if you are appearing for bth grps

Smita, all the suggestions given above are of professionals. Not to hurt anybody but i feel u should better go for just one group. If this is ur first attempt u should be in a position to appear for both groups.I gave my first attempt this Nov 08 but could not clear. So now i'm going for just 1 group. Agreed that giving both groups help in setting off but it is possible when u a best in one group and slightly above better in other group. But if this is your second attempt or so prepare for one group for max. 2 months and c whr u stand. If ur confident of one group, then go for the other in the balance period (1 month). This is what i'hv planned for my studies. Rest it all depends on u.
