hi friends this is bharath am a non graduate ipcc student appearing for nov 2012 attempt..considering this notification suggest me that am i an eligibl person to join in articles without clearing any grou of ipcc.plase help me urgent

Hi Bharath, u will be eligible for articleship only on completion of ur graduation or passing of 1st grp of ipcc, whichever is earlier.

I am eligible to articleship if i have cleared T.Y.Bcom this year,even if i have not cleared group 1 ?

Yes..But on reading the above notification, it appears that u will have to do articleship for 9 months before appearing for ur next ipcc exam. But if u hv registered for articleship on or before 30.09.12, then u can attempt in May 2013(in such a case, the minimum 9 month period is reduced to 7 months).
For example if u join articleship on 1.10.2012, u will be eligible to appear only for Nov 2013 exams. If u join articleship before 1.10.12, u can appear in May 2013. But in both these cases, it seems that u will not be able to appear in Nov 2012(I think u should contact ICAI & confirm on this matter. Based on the above notification, it appears that u cannot attempt this Nov if u join articleship. But still it is better to call up ICAI & clarify the matter. U may also put up the query in e-sahayataa)

CONVERSION FOR EXISTING IPCC STUDENTS SO ITHINK EVEN NON GRADUATE STUDENT ALSO IF HE IS COMPLETED CPT CAN COVERT AND START THE ARTICLESHIP FOR BETTER CLARIFICATION ITS BETTER TO CALL INSTITUTE ITSELF

Students, who have applied for Intermediate (IPC) Examination to be held in
November, 2012 can opt either to appear in the November, 2012 examination or
commence articled training on converting to Intermediate (IPC) Course.
Students, who opt for joining articled training, shall be eligible to appear in the
Intermediate (IPC) Examination only on completion of 9 months of practical training.
Further, the Council, in order to mitigate the hardships that might be faced by
the students registering under Direct Entry Scheme to Chartered Accountancy Course
upto 30th September, 2012, as a one-time dispensation, has relaxed the requirement
of completing of 9 months articled training (including concurrent 8 months study
course) to 7 months so as to appear such students in May, 2013 Intermediate (IPC)
Examination.
