I got notice u/s 139(9) defective return what to do

Reply within 15 days. Rectification already suggested in the notice. If acceptable, agree the same. If not acceptable, reply accordingly, & upload rectified return.

but before I got the notice I had known that my original return is filled with error and at that time I revised the original return. so, whether I reply to 139(9) or ignore it ????
Even you revise you have to file return u/s 139(9)....
