I have issue with U.P. tax authourity want to know why we have raised invoce with same serial no.
i told them that one invoice is normal tax invoice and second is excise invoice. so please tell me how i can define the scene to the and please tell me the law reference about these invoices.

In my practice there is no dispute between excise and U.P. Vat Dept. on the matter of invoice you can adopt as per excise rule 11 and it is sufficient for sale tax dept. Further it is requested two you not issue the separate invoices both concept.
