NON METRO CA STUDENTS - A SIN

I think its absolutely true.there are hardly any facilities available for students in small cities.they hardly find ny  tutors for coaching.ICAI should take some measures in order to provide better facilities to students

yes , Ganesh i agree with you. I,m also from a non metro city. there is no coaching institute near my town.it is very difficult to study compare with metro student.we hope institute should take action against it as much as possible

Doing CA is a sin, and the ventures of ICAI are demotivating.

The point you have mentioned is one such point....that even after such a long history and presence of this so called second largest accounting body, they hardly have anything for non-metro students.

Things may definitely get better, but what were the ppl doing since last 40-50 years? What have they done for rural development...

though i agree with your problem, I have a different perspective to it. If you look around in the metro cities, you would find that most of the good auditors have their origin in non-metro cities. My boss is CA first ranker and he belongs to Rajasthan (not jaipur). Normally the non-metro students are more sincere and despite the fac that they don't get the facilities of tuition centres, they perform well because they are more hardworking and have a do it yourself attitude.

I don't know how much you agree with me, but i don't think it would do any harm to you if you take a positive attitude and achieve on your own what others achieve through help of tens of people

you require only 4 months of time in metros to comple coaching for all subjects at any level...

if you want to get the best....you have to face these difficulties....

dont see the problem...see the opportunity.

THis is true..but it is not related to ICAI...ICAI doesnt provides that coachings..If u wish to join then u also can go to Metros for 4 months and can attend training for each attempt..

BUT WHAT ABOUT ARTICLESHIP THAT TOO NEEDS TO BE TRANSFERRED AND AGAIN NOT POSSIBLE TO DO COACHING AND ARTICLSHIP TOGETHER AS SUCH MANY METRO CLASSES RUN TO THE DURATION OF UPTO 6 HRS A DAY ?

Firstly, there is no restriction by the institute on transfers....

Secondly, Institute has provided fot hostels for out-station students

thirdly, You can not go on to crib about bigger firms not being present in non-metro cities..

you would have to go the places where the business is....or u can go on complaining and miss the buss....

hello friends according to me it is up to you how you study and does not matter whether are you from metro or non metro city.

There are many examples of CA from non metro who have scored well and in the first trial gets passed even without coaching classes..

Many of them have not even attend any books other than Modules given by the Institute.
