Non filing of tax audit report and no itr filed for ay 2017-18, turnover rs.2.25 crores

Client has Turnover of Rs.2.25 crores for AY 2017-18 and no TAX Audit is done and no ITR is filed. What is the remedy available in this situation.

-> can we file Tax audit report now for AY 2017-18 with ITR??

or wait for the Income tax to issue notice for non filing?
