All over india it is happening to the CRPF personnel that there TDS is deducted every year but not deposited to there account to central government nd accordingly no credit given to poor jawans cause most of them unaware about itr filing & reluctant to nd pay nd accounts officer missapropriate the money so what is the remdy available for us. plz reply it is a most important issue.

File return (may be in bulk) for refund of the TDS deducted amount, and simultaneously report to CIT- TDS for non reflecting TDS amount in the individual 26AS form/s, attaching the TDS cerificate/s issued by the employer (CRPF). The TDS(IT) department will follow up the issue.

After deducting the TDS amount the DDO is supposed to submits TDS return if he fails then the amount of TDS does not reflects in Income tax department but by the help of form 16 issued by DDO we can get that amount from IT dept.
