Its really de-motivating to read all this and that too when our exams are round the corner.Even i think our institute hypes salary figures and placements whereas many good poeple with good skills are without jobs.

even for campus placements only 10% students get placed.i think the only thing you can do is that accept any job u get right now.not everyone is lucky to get 10 lakh package to start with. plz accept a job even if you find salary to be lower.atleast that would erase this 'fresh" and "no experience tag from your profile" and then you command a much higher price

Please dont lose heart. everything will take its time yaar. You join for ACCA or CPA or CS or CWA  and pls work a the big 4 even if pay is low. U r talented. Make a reputation and puff up your resume. By 2011-12 the recession should be over and people like you will be in great demand.

Yes CA is not basically an industry course like MBA or ACCA. But please remeber that in the industry it is competence and not qualification that matters. and "first attempt" tag is created by coaching centers and not by the ICAI. everybody gets the same COP when they apply for membership friends. it does not say marks or attempt.

Sorry, I did not agree that i m not giving any value to Rs. 15000/-. I also worked at Rs. 800/- at shop as salesman while i was just 14 year old. and now what i m expecting is as per what i have knowledge. So, before give the word "Amit, I think you will not get any job or even if you get it you will not do any value add..... unless & untill you change your attitutde". So Please think. U might not known to other fully or u can not understand the other person so easily Boss.

The market is really bad and not only you thousands of people are in need of job..At this stage if you keep blaming the institute and continue your arguments..that wont help You...So its better atleast accept a job irrespective of the monetary terms where you can learn something...That will add value to your professional degree and then you will be in demand whn the market resumes..Accept the reality else you will always keep complaining...and at the end of the day you will get nothing...If you are sitting idle now or going for sum other degree it wont help you, I am also pursuing my CA. i will appear for my first grp next month.i have already cleared my second grp.After passing out considering the market situation i am going to join my Firm in which i have completed my articleship.We are a specialist in Indirect Tax and ill prepare my self for future. Do you know the difference between  a Learned and a Qualifies?? DO you know the menaing of patience? and do you have beleive in God?? If you did know all thes and had beleive in God you would not have blamed your institute so badly..Even we have grievances...I have done articleship and the stipend we get compared to the effort we put is not justified but thn  I guess Our future will Pay us..Just beleive in yourself...And instead of cursing CA, respect your degree, you will get the return else you will always complain...

The only 1 thing dat matters is your talent, except that no course in the world is worthy either its CA or any other.

So, its not the Value of the Course rather its the value of the peoples joining it. And Mr. AMIT for you specially if you are pursuing CA, we should never pee in our courtyard & if not then stop finding drawbacks of others & mind your own.
