Dear Ankur Shah, I wish to clarify that directorship in unlisted company is counted u/s 275. As per Section 278 Directorship in the following co. are excluded:

-Pvt. Co.

-Section 25 Co.

-Unlimited Co.

-Alternate Directorship.

Directorship under a pvt company which is a subsidiary of a public company will also be counted u/s275

I agree sir.

As per sec. 278 directorship under a private co.  which is holding of a Public Co. shall also be counted u/s 275.

Sorry to all that was typing Mistak, I mean to say Unlimited Company.
