Is it Good for a fresh Chartered accountant to start his career in a United Nations NGO? Can the CA shift to other fields later in his career after taking in additional qualifications? Thanks

Depends upon what your profile is there.
And, also keep in mind that the compensation can be low

SINCE UNITED NATION ARE PLAYING A MAJOR ROLE IN HUMAN DEVELOPMENT AREA SO THERE IS A BIG SCOPE FOR EVERY ONE
UN AGENCIES HIRED PEOPLE ON VERY HIGHER PACKAGES (SALARY PAID IN RS. BUT CONSIDERED IN USD). MOST OF UN NGO HIRED PEOPLES ON CONTRACT BASIS MAINLY FOR ONE YEAR AFTER ONE YEAR CONTRACT WILL BE RENEWED SUBJECT TO PERFORMANCE
PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT THERE ARE NO TDS DEDUCTION ON ANY PAYMENT RECEIVED FROM UN AGENCIES.
PLEASE DONT WASTE THIS OPPORTUNITY
AFTER WORKING FOR FEW YEARS HE NEED NOT TO JOIN ELSE WHERE. THERE ARE MANY UN NGOS LIKE UNDP, UNICEF, UNIDO, UNFPA & MORE .
