In calculation of net owned (1:20)for nidhi company ,why we are excluding intangible assets.

Generally meaning of Net owned fund varies according to the act, regulation since these law itself provides the specific meaning of Net owned fund. All the readily available funds to provide for losses, are the owned funds of the company. Hence going by this general meaning intangibles are excluded
