dear all,i have one confusion, i am preparing for 1st group, though i have taken coachings for ISCA and i also want to give exam of isca,as i have strong preprtn of this subject, but havent taken classes for other subjects of group 2, i am targetting for exemption in isca but not able to score 30 40 in rest of the subjects of grp 2..... can i just sit in the remaing 3 papers of group 2. my ques is that " AGAR COST DT IDT ME 0 V AAYE AUR ISCA ME EXEMPTION AAYE TO KYA ICAI WALE MERE US PAPER KO EXEMPT KARENGE...???"

Please do attempt the all the papers.

As you have said u can aim for exemption in ISCA it is advisable to appear for the group.

 

The exemption in ISCA may help you sail through Group 2 else may also help in subsquent attempts.

Don't worry about the scores in other subjects as you intend to target only ISCA. Even if you score less in other subjects in Grp 2 you will be eligible for exemption in ISCA if you score above 60.

Yes but  you shouldn't be absent in any of the papers. You've to be present for all the subjects in order to get exemption . Good luck :)

To be eligible for exemption in any paper of a group in any of the exams (PCE/IPCE/Final), you should have appeared in all the papers comprised in that group. In your case, though you obtained more than 60% marks, you will not be eligible for exemption since you did not appear in all the papers of that group
