There are only very few Acturains if u take All India.You can approach any  Life Insurance Company they will be in  better position to guide you even i came to know ICICI Insurance even sponsors for persons who wants to study such courses but one must have strong mathematical and statistical knowledge to become Acturains.

but i want to know that what kind of work is done by the acturians.

Actuaries mainly access the risk involved. Many fair valuations are done by them.They are mostly employed in Insurance industry. Its a highly commendable course. 

For doing Actuaries course now, you should have done maths/ statistics in 12th. You can also do this course after your CA(final).
