Need tips for preparing in ca pe2

Hi

For Accounts you can work out sums from  MPV book (PRIME Academy Material).
For Costing you can work out sums from  B.Saravana prasad(Guru krupa ) notes.
If you are following any other book then wont switch over from it, bcoz each author is having different views.

You are having only 2 months for your exams, i you change the book then there may be some confusion arising
at the time of writing the exams(it is only my suggestion, if you are able to manage, then you can switch over)

Preparing your own notes For all the subjects is very essential.
Daily spend 10 to 15 mins to gothrough the notes prepared by you.( i.e. on day 2 u gothrough the notes of day 1, and on day 3 gothrough the notes of day1 and day 2 , if you do like this then you can easily recollect what are the things u read and surely you wont forget anything you read, then you feel very comfortable on the examination day)
if you do like this then you can face the exams in a relaxed manner
You can also follow the same for the sums you are work out.

U can really feel the output of preparing your own notes only at the time of writing your exams.

accounts:- just complete ur study mat and solve past 20 yrs thats enough. and have regular practice in it.

Costing:- only trust the teacher from whom u have taken the tuition.

I had not opted for any coaching classes and my exam is due on nov 2007.  but thanks to reply so soon

There is no substitute for hard work. Although time at disposal is quite short but utilise the same in a most fruitful manner. For your query , for cost , prepare from Compilation series costing by ICAI institue along with Study mtl illustrations. Be thorough with suggested ans of paste 6-8 terms.Alos prepare for theory Q's well as u know there is always 30-35 mm theory in both Cost & FM togather. So go by marks element.
Reagrding accounts go thoriugh from a good std text for problems practice and also wade through the compilation series in Accounts along with suugested answeres of Institute for past 8-10 terms.

Guys what ur suggesting little fellow, asking him to solve 20yrs prob, is this a CA or graduation exams, work hard, do the study material, get the concept clarity, prepare small notes on scribling pad on important adjustments for each chapter. that will help u a lot for revising before exams
