First of all, please do articleship. Never mind even if it is a medium/small firm. This learning phase will help you a lot in later stages of your life.
As far as classes are concerned, keep elective for last. I mean after you have completed all the other subjects. This will help you to decide which one you want to study and completion of syllabus of the corresponding regular papers will help you as well.
