Hi....

Iam dng ca-ipcc..gng to write my ipcc exams in november attempt.iam thinking to register myself for cs executive for june-2014...is it helplful for my career to do cs with ca??

HI naveen, I have cleared my ca-ipcc in nov '12 attempt and am giving cs-executive in december '13.

It depends on your interest in subject, what one finally pursues.

If you are interested in CS, then no doubt go forward, it will be a big plus to you, because some companies both CS[Compliance Officer] and CA[CFO] to be there in the company, if you will do both, then definitely, your scope for selection will be at priority.

But, if someone told you to do that and you are not at all interested in doing CS, then please don't go for it, and don't make your articles messy, just because of someone's suggestion. If you like it, then definitely go for it.

Though it will add to your knowledge, what you can apply is the utmost one.So try to find link between what you have till read and what has happened in case of a particluar return or a company from the very begining of your articles.

Don't at all ignore your articles for anything else, it is what you are going to do in the rest of your life, pratically applying knowledge. Though if you do CA sincerely and commitedly, it is great and admirable also. But if you mix up both and remain in middle, then it is definitely not correct.

It is upon you what to do. Give importance to your interest and not to other's interest.

As definitely doing Cs along with Ca is much more helpful.

Hii Bharadwaj,dis is nithin appeared for CA-IPCC in may,13 and awaiting for results.I thought of taking CS after my results are out.Because if my results are negative i have to work for that.If i get positive results i want to take CS for appearin g in june,14.So my results will be out in august and ill apply for the registration by the end of august.So will i get my attempt in june,14? [or] dec,14?

What about our articles if we are doing CS too?Wont our articles get disturbed by CS?Because i think we have to go for coaching.Please advice me.

I have come across one article stating that a CA stude nt can't pursue other professional courses when doing graduation course.And i have also come across another article that if we take the permission from institute regarding this we can continue.Which one of them is correct??

AS YOU HAVE GIVEN THE ATTEMPT FOR MAY 2013 AND YOU ARE IN WAIT OF RESULTS, IF YOU REGISTER BEFORE THE END OF AUGUST 2013, THEN YOU WILL GET PERMISION FOR WRITING CS EXECUTIVE EXAMINATION IN JUNE 2014 ONLY AND NOT EARLIER.

SO IF YOU LIKE CS, YOU CAN GO AND PAY THE REGISTRATION FEE. THOUGH IF RESULT DOESN'T COMES AS EXPECTED YOU CAN COPE UP WITH IT, AS YOU HAVE NOV IN BETWEEN FOR IPCC.

ARTICLE STUDENTS CAN PURSUE ONLY ONE COURSE AT A TIME, WHICH DO NOT CONFLICT WITH ARTICLES BY FILING 112 WITH ICAI, HAVING SIGN OF OUR AUDITOR, WHICH IMPLIES HE IS GIVING PERMISSION TO US.

THIS YOU CAN TAKE FOR CS, IF PRIOR TO ARTICLES YOU START IT, AND WHILE DOING ARTICLES ALSO YOU ARE CONTINUING IT, YOU HAVE TO STILL FILE 112.
