how to start conversation with collegues when u r new in a firm?

Start talking with someone who you feel comfortable. Your intuition or sixth sense will guide you.
Don't wait for others to come and make friends with you. If it happens, it's fine. But try to be the first one to start a conversation.
And forget your ego unless any remark of the person opposite you, really hurts. Even in that case, defend yourself with firmness but not loosing your dignity.

No one will come forward . U have to be the one who has to start . Talk with them politely and ask them ur doubts when they r free. Ask them about the office environment and if u want the other colleague to talk with u more when u r new then just ask them
the character of the boss. (thats all he will start his speech)
