There are no specific reference books written exclusively for ICWA containing chapters as is in the syllabus. So you would have to refer the standard texts available in the market. The following would be the best way to prepare-
1) Capital Market Analysis- Just going through the study material in the first instance might be a little confusing as it is not written in a lucid and simple manner for self study and we get confused with the technical terms and way problems are solved etc. So first a full understanding of the syllabus has to be made and then study from a standard book like A.N.Sridhar(even phadukas strategic management for ca finals is a very good option) for chapters such as Portfolio Management and risk analysis, futures, options, interest rate swaps, mutual funds etc etc. Only then go through the study material in detail. After that solve the compendium. Next you should download all the revision test papers( from 2008-2012) for this paper available in the site + suggested answers for the all the examination conducted after new syllabus 2008 was brought into existence thoroughly.
2) Financial Management and Intenational Finance: Apply the same course as mentioned above- A.N.Sridhar(containing relevant portions of international finance and some chapters like bond valuation, divedends, investment management etc) or you can study from phaduka's strategic financial management for the some of the chapters as mentioned above. + Study material + compendium + revision test papers + suggested answers. Study material is more than enough for chapters like capital budgeting, working capital management, financial analysis, receivable management etc.
In short you can study both the above subjects by using one standard book- A.N.Sridhar or Phaduka + study material + compendium+revision test papers+suggested answers.
