These days I m very much stressed in my professional career.
I m in job as CS in a pvt. co. from past 6 months. This is my first job.
In this company, secretarial work is not much and at the time of joining, my superior, CFO (who is a CA), asked me to get involved in A/c dept. too. I had no prblm in this and i accepted.
Now wen i joined this company, as I dont have too much CS work, I asked my boss that i have little work to do and pls involve me in other task too (in accounts dept. obviously).
Now the directors of the company giving me irrelevant work to do which has nothing to do with me n my qualification. Like findling business prospects in different countries and make a project after searching on internet.
My boss called one of the secretary (not cs but PA) of the directors and assign her accounts work (even though she joined 4 days back and knw nothing about the company). He knws everything but keeping his eyes closed and taking me as granted.
The problms that the company and its employees have are :
1. There is no one-to-one relationship. All are your boss and you dont knw whom to report. Specially wen you are free, everybody comes to you giving you irrelevant work.
2. Top management persons have a habit to interfere in other department rather looking into his own department and all management person have habit to assign work to the person of other department. No one says anything as all the top mgmt person are like that only.
3. You dont know who is your friend and who is your foe. Your seem-to-be friend may cut your throat in front of the boss and you even dont realise that.
4. People are not valued here. The thing matters is HOW smart you are in buttering other people.
I dont know wat to do. How to tackle this situation.
Finding other job is not an easy task as every company wants experienced person.
