Hiii all
I am CA final student having my attempt in Nov'11. I want to study accountancy myself and i am also good at subject. My problem is regarding topics other than AS.
I have bought MPV, and started reading from it, understood all concepts very clearly but we all know in CA-final, everytime we get different type of question with slight change in concept.
At first i see question, try to figure out solution and solve in copy, succeed partially everytime but never completely. If again same kind of question appears then till long i remember the past one, i could solve little more than previous one. I plan to go this way & after finishing one time, revise question again quickly by overview, and then pick up unsolved scanner and solve it out.
My question is that this approach is alright or complete wastage of time.

hi .. i too refered mpv book . its good one.. first u should read the AS as it is in study material once. then read mpv book. then apply ur method of solving prob . its good that u started preparation now only.. do regular study. u will surely get success .. all thevery best for preparation..
AS THERE IS ENOUGH TIME, U ARE SUGGESTED TO GO THROUGH INST. MATERIAL AND PREPARE GIST NOTES FOR WHOLE SYLLABUS. SURELY U WILL GET BEST MARKS.

thanx you both, but i need to ask whether inst. material has more value addition to practical topics like some extra question. I have seen amalgamation and almost all question are covered by book, still you are experienced so i'll try for it.
And kaya, do you replied in respect of AS or other topics, as i have no problem in AS.
FOR TOPICS OTHERTHAN STANDARDS PREPARE AND FOLLOW ONLY INSTITUTE MATERIAL, IT IS THE BEST BOOK THAN ALL
thing is u better see study material first then refer other books
