As per my suggestion if you are a fresher than first refer scanner to figure out the imp chapters. Don’t refer study mat initially as they are quite voluminous and full of unnecessary details.
Scanner is the collection of previous exam questions. These days solved scanners also available.
Along with scanner also refer your coaching notes. ICAI suggested answers are also very useful.
You may download various handy notes from CAClub.

hi tanu,
Scanner is a book contains previous question papers arranged chapter wise. this is very very useful for clearing the CA, especially for people like you(self study).
From the scanner, you get the idea, as to which chapters are more important and the way questions will be asked. if you have time constraint to complete the whole syllabus, scanner will advice you to cover the most important chapters.
First you go and buy the scanner immediately.
