Hi All........

I cleared PCC in august 2011 and registered for final and within one month only filled Exam Form .... i was not prepared as i cleared PCC jus 2 months ago .... dint tk coaching, and studied on my own and gave CA final GRP 1 for experience .... i cud not clear.... But the marks were as follows :

Financial Reporting:22

SFM:24

Audit:47

Law:36

I am gud in theorotical subjects ......... cut=rrently i am serving my articleship and i dnt think i'll get leave before march 12...........

I want to give may Exam ....... i m confused shd i give bi=oth grp or give one grp only ......

Points in favour of giving both grps are :

1. i have studied DT IDT for CS professional EXam

2. Giving bi=oth grp can help in set off

3. Aftr giving 1 grp , i m confident abt grp 1

Further i wud like to sat=y that i have not taken any classes for final . except DT .... and i have no plan to take any classes in future .. as i cannot do coaching etc ... My DT Classes are going on .but i m skipping many leactures due to office tention .........

.... kindly suggest me wat shd i do and how to prepare in the best way to clear Exam in this may...

My advice is to go for second group first because you have covered some portion of syllabus of DT & IDT.

.

First of all; focus your attention to get at least exemption in two subjects i.e. DT & IDT. DT you must read with Dr. Girish Ahuja and IDT with institute's modules and Bangur.

.

For both the subjects you must solve institute's compilation.

.

To have quick grip over subjects; you may refer my articles :

1. Making subjects interesting for professional exams

2. Revision of whole syllabus in day one

(apply it for first reading to have an overview about the subjects).

.

For remaining two subjects: Cost Accounting and Information Technology; you must first refer Institute's modules and then compilation.

.

Better do revision daily what you read today.

.

First of all; do this with regular study of 6 hours which you can utilize with early bed and wake up at 11.00 pm-5.00 am. Thenafter you can go for bed again till 9.00 to relax and be fresh to go to the office.

This way you can utilize your time to the best possible manner during your training period.

Don't feel stressed. If you feel; you wont' be able to concentrate on studies. Just focus on preparation and see the positive results.

I would also suggest you to give just Group 1 if you are going to get leave from March 12... and also fill the form for 2nd group just to gain exposure to the papers which will help you in your next attempt...
