Necessity to show closing balances in itr

Is It necessary to show our closing balance of Balance sheet in ITR 4 and 4-s And please reply as soon as possible

in case books are not maintained, it is not mandatory but yes it is good practice to show details in itr 4 or 4s.... in case regular books are maintained, it is mandatory to fill balance sheet and profit nd loss a/c.
