If I have to supply the goods by tender, then it will come in the work under work contract if not so what is nature of work

“works contract” means a contract for building, construction, fabrication, completion, erection, installation, fitting out, improvement, modification, repair, maintenance, renovation, alteration or commissioning of any immovable property wherein transfer of property in goods (whether as goods or in some other form) is involved in the execution of such contract;

This is the definition of works contract. If you are doing this work whether by tender or otherwise then it is works contract.

If you are NOT doing this work whether by tender or otherwise it is not works contract.
