Hello,

I am a retired Engineer (age 73+) from a semi-govt. department in Punjab and would like to get your valuable advice on Income tax matter.

Please let me know if I can save some Income Tax by depositing Rs. 50,000/- in National Pension Scheme.

No. The maximum age for opening NPS account is 65 years.
