Yes, allowed to the extent of 100%.

Donation made to the National Defence Fund set up by the Central Government is allowed u/s 80G(2)(a)(i).
.
Donation made in cash will be allowed upto Rs. 10,000 and exceeding Rs. 10,000, in any mode other than cash.

In case, the donation exceeds 10000 and is paid in cash... will the entire amount or the amount in excess of 10000 disallowed?
