I HAVE APPLIED FOR THE NAME OF ONE COMPANY IN FORM-1-A
THE NAME HAS BEEN APPROVED BY THE ROC
BUT NOW I CAME TO KNOW THAT I HAVE WRONGLY TYPED THE NAME
SO WHAT CAN I DO NOW? CAN I RENEW THE NAME NOW?
HELP ME OUT .............

yes. you can . make an application to roc. also you can change the name of company afterwards by passing a special resolution

Hallo,
Rectify Mistake in Form 1, 1A, 44 (ROC)
As per General Circular No. 42/2012
Filling an application for rectification of mistakes made while filing following forms:
1. Form 1:- Application or declaration for incorporation of a company.
2.Form 1A:- Application form for availability or change of a name.
3. Form 44:- Documents delivered for registration by a foreign company.
Such application are to be made to ROC in form 68

Dear Lokeh
Rectification in respect of eForm 1A is allowed only in case eForm 1 has been filed in
respect of the same and the company has not yet been incorporated.
Experst pls correct me if I am wrong.

THE PROBLEM HERE IS THE COMPANY IS NOT YET INCORPORATED
THE NAME HAS BEEN JUST APPROVED
WE DID NOT PROCEED FURTHER
I WANT TO KNOW WHETHER THERE IS ANY OPTION OTHER THAN RE-APPLYING THE CORRECT NAME AGAIN IN FORM-1A AND PAYING THE FEE AGAIN?

There are two options :
1. Proceed with the name approved , file Form 1 and pay requistie fee, and then file form 68 with requisite fee i.e. 1000
2. Approve for the new name of the company after paying requisite fee of 1000/-
In short, what I am seeing ,Cost of Rs 1000/- can not be saved in your case

DEAR SIR
I THINK THERE IS NO OPTION TO CHANGE THE NAME IN THE FIRST CASE PROVIDED BY YOU
FORM-68 IS HELPFUL ONLY WHEN WE MAKE MISTAKES IN CASE OF SELECTING THE TYPE , CATAGORY AND THE SUB CATEGORY BUT NOT THE NAME ITSELF.
THE NAME CAN BE CHANGED IN CASE OF THE COMPANY HAS FILED FORM-44 IN COMMUNICATING THE AUTHORIZED PERSONS AND THE SERVICE OF DOCUMENTS
I THINK I SHOULD GO WITH THE SECOND OPTION YOU SUGGESTED

Dear Lokesh,
you have to upload incorporation form 1/18 and 32 and after approval you have to apply for change of name by filing form-1A , 23 and 1B.
