hey all,

First of all i would like to thank all the members of this forum to make this forum such a great platform for the aspiring CA students like me... with so many helping\contributing members this is by far the best forum i hav ever seen :)

i appeared for PE2 this may 08 ..both groups ..but i could only pass thru the second group as i got 31 in accounts :( ...

its a real set back for me by losing the battle by just 9 marks ...

before i gear up for nov08 exams i hav a questions which are troubling me these days ..any help will be great!! ..

1. Do i need to re-register with ICAI coz my Eligiblity certificate was valid till may 2008?

2. i hav already paid the fees (Rs 4000/-) for the 100 hours ITT on 21 june ... when should i expect the training to commence (centre opted : Pitampura )...given the deadline of 31st OCT ?

3. Any idea from where i can get the suggested answers of the group 1 of PE2 May 2008 ? And when will be the exam forms for Nov 08 will be available?

if anyone can please guide me it will be really helpfull for me :( ,

hey ravindra , thanks for the info for the forms ... i saw that someone has uploaded the suggested answers till NOV07 ... is there any chance that suggested answers for may08 will also be added to "share files" section ..coz i stay in south delhi and its really difficult for me to travel :( ...

see, we all had our Eligiblity Certificate which was valid till may 2008....as May08 was the last PE2 to take place. now as PE2 has been ur extended, u will b getting 2 more attempts. BUT ONLY IF u have appeared in PE2 for less than 5 times.

k thanks ..i hav just appeared 2 times ... and was hoping to clear this time ... but got stuck only due to Accounts :( ... any idea on the ITT training thing ...coz they say that its compulsary to do it before 31st OCt

my suggestion is just go to the nearest ICAI branch clarify personally, otherwise make a call to the institute directly. So, that you can clarify your questions without any confusion. Otherwise, many will clarify but can't assure you. You can find suggested answers in ICAI website.
