We filed a Refund application having MVAT credit in SGST from pre GST regime.
The officer has however told us the SGST credit from MVAT would not be refunded to us under the state department and we would have to approach the Central department for the same.
What should I do in this case?

GST has TRAN -1 form which covers the transitional provisions of state and central duty credit in GST, there is no such refund application type except n case of Export of goods or services
