I WISH TO INVEST IN MUTUAL FUNDS (SIP PLAN).I CAN DEPOSIT RS.1000/- PER MONTH FOR A PERIOD OF MORE THAN 5 YEARS.I KNOW THERE ARE DIFFERENT TYPES OF SCHEME UNDER SIP PLAN..CAN ANYONE GUIDE ME WHICH PLAN I WILL CHOSE..I DON’T KNOW MORE DETAILS ABOUT DIFFERENT SCHEME UNDER SIP PLAN.CAN ANONE GUIDE ME PLZ.?PLZ TELL ME WHICH SHEME IS MORE PROFITABLE .

I would suggest 'HDFC Top 200' (which I have taken)
or DSP Black Rock
or Sundaram S.M.I.L.E.

Your investment decisions should be guided by your financial objectives and risk for appetite. My only advise would be to go for as much diversification as possible in your MF portfolio and look for reliable funds that have performed well historically. Needless to say, you’ll have to do some research to find the right funds. You also need to consider costs of mutual fund investment such as sales and management fee and other expenses of maintaining the funds. As long as the investment objectives of your chosen fund match your own, you should be okay!
