The Aggregate Turnover U/s 2(6) of the CGST Act 2017 is calculated PAN wise. So you need to take into consideration the turnover of both the businesses for the purpose of GST Registration. If your aggregate turnover exceeds Rs. 20 lakhs, you are required to take registration under GST for both the "places of business".
Now the question arises how many GST Registration will I have to take ? If both the Business are being carried on the same state, then One GST Registration is sufficient for both the nature of businesses. Also you can apply for a separate GST Registration for the two different nature of businesses.
Note that once you are registered under GST, You are liable to pay tax for all the businesses carried all over India.
Refer the Provision of Section 22 & 25 of the CGST Act 2017 for more information regarding REGISTRATION under GST.
