MTech: IPCC Direct Entry Nov 2015 eligibility on starting Feb 20 2015

Hello All,

I am a Mtech in Electronics and interested to pursue CA.

I submitted the form under Direct Entry Scheme for IPCC, online on February 4th 2015 and submitted all documents to the Hyderabad Centre on 6th Feb 2015. I still have not received my Student Registration number. I was told it takes around 10 days and I will get an email/SMS. I think until then I cannot book OP or ITT class.

1. Can I begin my articleship? I have a practicing CA ready to take me from February 20th 2015. But I am not sure if I can register without a SRO number?

2. Will I be eligible for November 2015 exams? I will be short of nine months articleship by about 20 days. If there a possiblity for exemption?
