In gst can the sale price be above MRP ( which is inclusive of taxes)

If we purchase some stock on FOC basis, how we should make the accounting entry for the same,whether to use discount on the product or to direct purchase with a nominal value? and is there any implication of GST if the FOC stock contains MRP inclusive of GST?
