Money lending Business

Our is a small finance business in Andhra Pradesh and annual income that we earn from this business is Rs.250000/-(approx)

People say that we need to fetch some licence from Registrar of Money Lending with our area. is that true if it is what is the exemption limit for doing such type of business. pls suggest
