MISTAKES BY BANK WHILE PROCESSING THE CHALLAN

DEAR ALL

IN MOST OF CASES THE BANKS ARE MAKING MISTAKES IN PROCESSING OF CHALLANS . EITHER BY ENTERING WRONG TAN NO. OR WRONG CODE , WHICH RESULTS IN MISMATCH OF CHALLAN. THE ONLY OPTION LRFT WITH THE DEDUCTOR IS TO FIGHT WITH BANKS AND THEN GOING TO ITO OFFICE FOR CORRECTION , I AM UNABLE TO UNDERSTAND WHAT KIND OF SOFTWARE IS BEING PROVIDED TO CHALLAN ACCEPTING BANKS , BECAUSE IN MOST OF CASES THERE IS MISMACH OF TAN , NORMALLY MISTAKE OF CHARACTER . TAN NO COMPRISES FOUR ALPHA FOLLOWED BY FIVE NUMERIC THEN AGAIN ONE ALPHA. BUT IN MOST OF CASES THEY ARE PUNCHING WRONG TAN WHICH WOULD RESULT IN MISMATCH & ULTIMATLY ASSSESS WOULD CREDIT ONLY AFTER FOLLOWING LONG PROCEDURE OF CORRECTION.
