Mistake in Tax Paper

hey guys i believe that in last question of ipcc tax paper may2011 there was mistake in allotment of marks becoz in that question we had to write 2 out of 3 questions but 1st question=4marks 2nd question=4marks and 3rd question=12 marks.how is it possible???comment

7. (a) do any two (8m)

7. (a) (1) 4m

7. (a) (2) 4m

7. (a) (3) 4m

7. (b) 4m

7. (c) 4m

total 16m.. what's the problem?

There is no mistake .. Marks distribution is correct.

There were three questions in Q no. 7 i.e 7(a) , 7(b) and 7(c)

7(a) was a 8 Marks question, 7(b) 4 marks and 7(c) 4 marks = TOTAL 16 marks question.

In 7(a) there were 3 question of 4 marks each , out which you had to do only 2 question . So its simple.

thr wasn't any mistake, perhaps u did not read the instructions, had to attempt any 2 out of the 3 in 1st part.....
