Mistake in Intimation u/s 143(1)(a) - Regretting the inconvenience-Recd from CPC on LTCG calculation

Team,

Due to Long term capital gain calculation Issue, got the below intimation from CPC :

Please refer to the intimation u/s. 143(1)(a) issued vide Document Identification No. CPC/1920/G22 dated 02-DEC-19 PAN xx AY 2019-20 wherein mistakes processing have occured due to certain technical issues. We are in the process of resolving the issue and taking up the case for suo-moto rectification. We regret the inconvenience caused and request you to kindly wait for further communication in this regard.

Any one has any update on this.

Please advise how long we can wait and I think we need to complete the filing before March 31st 2020 for AY 19-20.

Appreciate your advise on this.

Dear Frd ,

U can't fill rectification till the return is not processed. U can correct the detail in itr and filled a revised return and submit the details in e-proceeding for the year .

Thanks Shrikant for your reply.

Though Department is asking me to wait for further notification, You want me to go for revised return.

I did not get your statement on correct the detail in ITR, mistake is not in my ITR form.

Dear frd, I heard that news but law professional not act on news
I suggest u if u have correct itr and 143(1) (a) is incorrect u submit in epoceeding that "disagree" and specify the reasons and detail for further processing of ur return.

I am not clear on "law professional not act on news"

But I got SMS/Email from CPC itself regarding the same and asking to wait for further communication. In this situation still you want me to go to e-Proceeding with Disagree and submit.

Please advise.
