Is bonus received on maturity or withdrawal of Monthly Income Scheme (MIS) taxable???

Yes it is taxable under the head " INCOME FROM OTHER SOURCES" as Bonus received on maturity of post office Monthly Income Scheme.

bonus amount received on maturity is taxable and u will be liable to pay tax on that.
