What is minimum alternate tax? Plz can any one provide me notes or link to refer income tax sections on same.

Minimum Alternative tax is the tax that a company has to give to the I. Tax deptt. even if it is incurring losses. This is the minimum tax that must be given. however the credit of MAT is given in the subsequent years.
